<p>Former Principal Ballerina with New York City Ballet, she teaches major international ballet companies for the George Balanchine Trust and Robbins Rights Trust. Highly sought-after trainer of young students and pre-professionals. Directed her own School of Ballet for all ages, New Milford, CT., and ballet program at Arts on the Lake, Carmel, NY, with Bart Cook.  On faculty of ballet centers in Richmond, Purchase, Cincinnati. Has appeared on television in “Live from Lincoln Center” and PBS “Dance in America.”  Arts on the Lake Advisory Board, Who’s Who in America.</p>

Has taught students of all ages throughout U.S.  Major posts at ballet centers in Missouri, Richmond, Purchase, Cincinnati. Choreographed for the School of American Ballet, New York City Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet. Danced in PBS-TV “Dance in America,” “Live from Lincoln Center,” film classic, “George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker.”  On the Board of Directors of Arts on the Lake, Advisory Board of New Chorographers on Pointe.</p>

<h2>Amy Gagnon</h2>
<p><em>Faculty &amp; Program Coordinator</em><br />
<img class="alignright size-full wp-image-100" title="Amy Gagnon" src="http://www.calecoballetstudio.com/movedtokeepsecure/wp-content/uploads/amy.png" alt="" width="170" height="170" />Teaches creative movement and children’s yoga for Easter Seals, Valhalla, NY.  Faculty of Brass City Ballet, Middlebury, CT, teaches creative movement, ballet, tap; rehearsal Director for advanced students.  Has taught creative movement, pre-ballet, ballet, tap and adult ballet for Roberson School of Ballet, Ballet Arts Theater, NY, and Ballet Academy East, New York City. Danced professionally with Albany Berkshire Ballet.</p>
<h2>Morgan McEwen</h2>
<p><em>Faculty</em><br />
<img class="alignright size-full wp-image-100" title="Amy Gagnon" src="http://www.calecoballetstudio.com/movedtokeepsecure/wp-content/uploads/morgan.png" alt="" width="170" height="170" />Morgan Claire McEwen is a freelance ballerina currently residing in New York City. For the first 6 months of 2010, Morgan danced for the Metropolitan Opera appearing in the Met’s premiere of Rossini’s <em>Armida</em>. Also in 2010, she performed on Broadway at the Shubert Theatre in the Irish Repertory Theater’s rendition of <em>Brigadoon</em>. Since her return to New York in 2008, Ms. McEwen has been working closely with Syracuse City Ballet. In 2008, she performed as Snow White and this past season she danced the role of Mina in their production of <em>Dracula</em> and the Sugar Plum Fairy in their <em>Nutcracker</em>. Morgan has also been working with Neglia Ballet in Buffalo, NY.  Her work first began during Neglia&#8217;s 10th Anniversary Gala and has continued through to their first production of the <em>Nutcracker</em> this past winter. Ms. McEwen has also guested as the Sugar Plum in the Albany Berkshire Ballet&#8217;s <em>Nutcracker</em> and worked with Viewpointe Dance Project in New York City. Prior to moving back to New York, Ms. McEwen spent three seasons with BalletMet in Columbus, Ohio. During her time at BalletMet she had the opportunity to dance many soloist roles and was also co-recipient of the Violetta Boft award. Her repertoire has been extensive ranging from classic Balanchine to works by Stanton Welch. Among Morgan’s favorite roles are the Dark Angel in <em>Serenade</em> and Mina in <em>Dracula</em>. Morgan made here debut as a professional ballerina at only 17 years of age with the Richmond Ballet.</p>
